Multi-platinum singer, songwriter, and producer Trevor Daniel releases his anticipated new single “Story,” out today via Alamo Records/RCA Records.

“Story” marks Trevor’s first release of 2022, following the runaway success of his 4x platinum-certified single “Falling,” which hit #17 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 at Pop Radio, and his 2021 EP, That Was Then.

Driven by alt-rock-driven bass riffs and heavy percussion, the new single explores the aftermath of a broken relationship, with Trevor examining both perspectives through his melodic vocals, wondering “which story you’ll tell, the one where we’re in heaven or you put me through hell.”

The video for “Story,” also released today, amplifies the song’s narrative through its stunning visuals, flipping the script on the typical relationship with a superpowered twist. Directed by Nayip Ramos (Flo Milli, D Smoke, KSI), Trevor and his love interest’s emotions are heightened through their powers as their relationship goes from exhilarating highs to crushing lows, culminating in a stunning, supercharged end.

“This is about two sides of a story. The song is framed as a relationship, but it can relate to a lot of different things in life, and it’s open to interpretation. It’s about knowing my truth and side of things while wondering what others are hearing about me and how I’m being portrayed by someone who no longer has my best interest,” says Trevor. “This song relates to multiple situations in my life, intimate relationships, old friendships, and work relationships. So, I hope people can find a way to relate it to their life as well.
