Today, the inimitable duo TIGRA & SPNCR, share their new, energetic track “FIREBENDER,” a pulsating, danceable earworm featuring vocal contributions from actor, Dante Basco (Hook, Avatar: The Last Airbender). Listen HERE. On the collaboration and new single, TIGRA says: “While working on the TIGRA & SPNCR project, Spencer told me about his friend Dante Basco and his desires to feature him on a track. I loved the beat and concept, so I wrote and recorded my lyrics that day.”

Dante Basco adds:“Spencer & I go back many years in the LA music scene, running in the same circles and sharing the same stages in the early 2000s. We always stayed friends as he continued on his music path and I continued in my world of film and television. As he was working on the TIGRA & SPNCR project we happened to move just blocks from each other & he told me to come by to hang out in the studio. In a vibe-out session, we penned this song that is somewhat of an homage to one of the characters I’m known for.”

“Firebender” follows the release of TIGRA & SPNCR’s rousing protest song “For My People,” which was released last October to positive acclaim and set the scene for exciting new music and announcements to come.
