Acclaimed Chicago rapper Saba has released his first Double-Single of 2021 featuring new tracks “Ziplock” / “Rich Don’t Stop.” Saba has also premiered an accompanying music video medley in support of both tracks. Watch below:

Last month, Saba penned an exclusive op-ed for Pigeons & Planes, entitled Art, Ownership, and Business: An Essay by Saba, which highlights his musical journey as a successful independent Black artist who turned his dream into a financially sustainable career by owning his masters and through his authenticity and musicality that’s undoubtedly made him one of this generation’s most vital and unique voices.

Praised for his transparency, on “Ziplock” / “Rich Don’t Stop” Saba reflects on the work, risks and sacrifices that led him to where he is today.

“Ziplock” was produced by D. Phelps and Coop the Truth, while “Rich Don’t Stop” was produced by frequent collaborators daedaePIVOT and Daoud.

The accompanying music video medley was directed by Ian Lipton. The new music releases on the heels of a feature with Smino on “Plead The .45th” for the Judas and The Black Messiah: The Inspired Album film soundtrack (alongside the likes of Jay-Z, Nipsey Hussle, Nas, A$AP Rocky, H.E.R., and many more).
