Buzzing after her explosive Lollapalooza debut where she earned the front page of The Chicago Tribune, rising star Maude Latour returns with the new video for her summer alt-pop anthem “Probabilities.” Consequence premiered the video earlier today, calling it “dreamy.” Check out the “Probabilities” video HERE.

Inspired by the isolation of the pandemic, Maude explains, “‘Probabilities’ is an actual summer dance song. The feeling of this lonely dancing, despite the circumstances. I can distinctly recall meeting a friend outside in a park, and we stood with strangers all 20 feet apart, and all danced as it became night. It was this dystopian, lonely, but profound feeling. That feeling continued in quarantined apartments, when we would make our bedroom simulate the euphoria of the parties we used to know.”

Earlier this month Maude was featured in The New York Times, adding to a long list of recent acclaim from the likes of NPR, Variety, Rolling Stone, V Magazine, and many more! Now that she’s graduated from Columbia University with a degree in philosophy, she’s set to continue her momentum with more new music coming soon and a U.S. headline tour beginning September 29th – see dates here.
