17-year-old Chicago phenom rapper Kidd Kenn returns with a hard-hitting new track “Benji,” produced by Dr. Anonymous. The song kicks off with a punchy chorus and finds him spitting his wittiest wordplay to date. Kidd Kenn’s raw and honest lyrics have become his signature style and continues to prove why he is one of hip-hop’s most promising rising artists. “Benji” is the latest release from Kidd Kenn’s highly anticipated forthcoming mixtape Child’s Play due February 14. On February 13, he is set to take the stage during MTV’s Push Live concert series at Chelsea Music Hall in NYC.

Since his breakout performance at the Red Bull Music Festival (November 2018), which showcased the best of Chicago’s queer underground, the buzz has been explosive. PAPER, Fader, Nylon, Teen Vogue, Office Magazine, Interview Magazine, and other tastemakers have all rallied behind Kenn with Fader dubbing him “Chicago’s Next Teen Sensation.” He’s also received praise from Grammy award winning artists Lizzo and Lil Nas X.
