Today, upcoming Houston alt rock trio JunkBunny reveals the official video for their brand new single, “Another Summer Song,” out now via LAVA Records/Republic Records—watch HERE!
The video, which the band shot themselves with friends in Houston, seamlessly translates the spirit of “Another Summer Song,” as skateboarding accidents, hand-drawn dreams of starting a band and unrequited teen love fill a listless summer day. Splicing the action together, the clip features an energetic performance as the sun sets behind JunkBunny in cinematic fashion.
On making the video, JunkBunny says, “We had one camera, a couple friends and a whole lot of time on our hands to make a music video for our new track ‘Another Summer Song.’ We wanted to portray what Summer feels and looks like to us.”

On “Another Summer Song,” JunkBunny offers a modern take on the spirit and attitude of nineties alternative rock with a hyper-charged energy of their own. Alt Press praises the song as “the perfect summer anthem,” saying, “the trio’s track boasts resonating harmonies and a memorable chorus,” while V13, who premiered the video, says, “‘Another Summer Song’ just has a warm feeling to it, a song with a 1990s alternative rock spirit that would have fit perfectly into the teen movies that ruled the day back around the turn of the century.”

“Another Summer Song” is the follow up to JunkBunny’s debut EP
Junk Rock and breakout single “Sedona” released last fall after opening for ZZ Top, The Struts and even Jon Bon Jovi. The EP was produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, P.O.D.). The band recently debuted their live Junk Rock sessions shot from home—watch here.
Stay tuned for more from JunkBunny this summer!
