Out Now On Heavenly Recordings

Today Boy Azooga, who most recently released brand new standalone single “O Silly Me”, have shared a cracking cover of cult U.S. singer songwriter Jim Sullivan‘s track “U.F.O.” alongside its accompanying video. Watch and listen to it Below.

The brilliant video, directed by Cardiff based On Par Productions, is an amusing pastiche of title sequences of 1970s U.S. cop shows.

Talking about “U.F.O.” Davey Newington of the band said: “I was introduced to Jim Sullivan’s U.F.O last year by Tom Friend in Friendly Records. It has become one of my favourite ever albums since. Hope we did it some justice! Would like to dedicate this version to Pete, safe voyage on your U.F.O.”

Having released their much loved and critically acclaimed debut album 1,2 Kung Fu! in 2018 on Heavenly Recordings, the band shared the video to “O Silly Me in November of last year.

Boy Azooga are currently writing and recording the follow up to 1,2 Kung Fu!details of which are forthcoming.
